The management of the company is performed by our directors, Peter Oliver, Ian Lennane and Brendon Smith. The company's strength is in it's people. "With the team we've got we have so much accumulated expertise we can tackle almost anything the industry throws at us." says Peter Oliver. As specialists in both new and used sawmilling technology the company offers dedicated engineering and project expertise along with specialist manufacturing and preventive maintenance capability, supported from a 1160m2 workshop with full machining, fitting and fabrication shop facilities.

Company History
Pacific Timber Engineering Limited commenced trading as Oliver and Haua in 1986, a successful partnership that was to last the next 15 years.
By the late '80's the staff grew to 20 people and the workshop was geared up enough to take on the installation of the quad mill at the Pinex Mill at Putaruru.

A change in structure in 1998 saw a change in name to Pacific Timber Engineering, chosen because it reflected the company's increasingly sophisticated range of activities and growing international business, which includes South Africa, South America, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
